What’s the Difference Between Text and Checkbox Fields With and Without a Red Asterisk?

• Red asterisk = Required (signers must complete the field before submitting).
• No asterisk = Optional (signers can skip the field if they choose).
• This only applies to textboxes and checkboxes. Other fields (signature, initials, date, etc.) are always required.
